The ice cream cone display measures about 19 1/2 inches tall. The stand, likely modern, is 5 7/8th inches tall, 5 7/8th inches wide, and 5 7/8th inches deep. It is not dated and there is no manufacturer’s name / mark. Opinion: This appears to be hand made with paper mâché applied to a wood support. The paint does not fluoresce under black light, that is to say, the paint is not polychrome – lead based paint. We date the piece to the 1950s / 1960s. It seems to tilt a bit in the pictures: (a) it does not taper evenly as is evident in the first picture and (b) the hole in the base in which it sits appears slightly off-center

Condition report:
There are areas of the ice cream (strawberry and vanilla) where paint chips expose paint of the same color, suggesting re-paint; alternatively, it may be the original undercoat. There\'s wear to the bottom / tip of the cone with (what appears to be) a wooden dowl exposed.
