The metal spindle -?- or rod inside is incised 25 NP-134. Background, per online sources: Dolinko & Wilkens Inc. – also found online as Mfg. – was a manufacturer of vacuum capacitors and vacuum relays. They produced both fixed and variable glass vacuum capacitors, which are used in high-voltage and high-frequency applications like radio transmitters, medical equipment, industrial heating, and radar systems. In the June 1948 issue of electronics, a McGraw Hill publication, it is announced in the New Products article that “DOLINKO & WILKENS, INC., 101 Hazel St., Paterson 3, N. J., has a new line of high -current vacuum capacitors rated at 32,000 volts. The units are available in capacitances of 6, 12, 25, 50, 75, 100 and 250 micromicrofarads.” — accompanied by a picture of a capacitor similar to the one we are selling.
