History: In 1902 or 1903, the Mexico Brick and Fire Clay Co. – Mexico Missouri – was founded. In 1910, A. P. Green bought the company. In 1915, he incorporated the company as the A.P. Green Fire Brick Company. It was sold shortly after the end of World War II and later became the A. P. Green Refractories Company ( we could not determine when ). The company manufactured high-quality, fire-resistant clay products used in furnaces and kilns. About 2 3/4 x 4 x 1 1/4 inches
