We were unable to identify the company (assuming this was a company and not a shared stop for independent, regional bus operators which preceded the network of today’s public transportation). Opinion: We date the sign to the 1920s – 1950s. We like the colors and primitive nature of the sign. About 15 x 25 x 1/8 inches
Weight: 1.65 LB
Measurement: 15 x 25 IN
Depth: 0.125
Condition report:
The sign is painted over another, earlier illegible sign which is faintly seen in the upper right - at the right angle, in the right light, we could not get a good photo of it. The sign has abrasions and wear, nail holes (which are visible in the photos - we take pictures against a white background) and some surface rust. Also, a metal deflection on the right side adjacent to the nail hole.
