Likely a calendar ( although we see no means for one to be attached ). Please see the photo of the back, A calendar? Yes…. This was apparently part of a series of works of art designed for use as a calendar for a year and then displayed as art. While we did not find a prior sale of this sign, we did find one with Make Mine Manru, a brand of theirs also brewed 1933 – 1950, using the same artwork. The lithograph itself measures about 9 H inches x 12 W inches. The Story on the back measures about 9 H inches x 11 1/2 W inches. The wood plaque measures about 13 1/2 H inches x 15 W inches.

Condition report:
The lithograph has some abrasions to the top right, including a visible scratch. The wood displays well; close examination shows some areas of wear that aren\'t readily noticable. The back is in excellent conditon. The hole for hanging is, in our opinion, original to the piece.
