Likely a 1930s post prohibition sign. Per historicstructures dot com: “Early and Often” was the slogan that repopularized the E&O brand after the repeal of the Eighteenth Amendment.” The sign is marked The Donaldson Art Sign Co., Covington, KY at the lower right. This thin tin exterior sign was designed to catch light, that is, it is a reflector meant to be seen by car headlights. We took pictures at different angles to capture the original intent. History: The Eberhardt and Ober Brewing Company became part of the Pittsburgh Brewing Company in 1899. They were among the original 12 local breweries that consolidated on February 3, 1899, to form the trust, which became one of the largest brewing operations in the United States.
