While this is commonly sold as the Yale University bulldog mascot, it is also an advertising piece for Yale Rubber Manufacturing – Sandusky Michigan. The bulldog is marked Yale on the right side and YRM, the company’s logo, on the left side. We believe the bulldog is painted rubber. The company was a major independent rubber manufacturer, especially known for automotive components. Reputably, founded in the late 1940s, the company was later sold and ceased operations in Sandusky, Michigan. About 3 3/4 x 1 3/4 x 5 1/4 inches
Weight: 0.48 LB
Measurement: 3.75 x 1.75 IN
Depth: 5.25
Condition report:
It is made of rubber. There are places where flexing - bending have caused striations in the paint and paint loss - see the photos of the back legs. So, wear consistent with age and use.
